I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and have over 30 years of experience assisting individuals, couples and families adjust to life transitions. I have a Doctor of Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master's in social work from Walla Walla University and my undergraduate degree is in psychology from Union College, Lincoln, NE.
My specialty is in working with life transitions and trauma. Life is ever changing and sometimes you find yourself dodging curve balls. Transitioning after completing college, ending a long- term relationship, getting married, or even getting older and retiring can be a challenge. Whether the life change is a good one or not, it can cause stress. This can often lead to anxiety or depression as one struggles with finding value in their new life roles. I walk side by side with you to find peace, contentment, and value within your life.
My therapeutic approach is relaxed and catered toward each individual’s needs and learning styles. I believe in exploring each individual in a holistic fashion, considering the influences within their lives including relationships, emotional and physical health, and spirituality.

I am an Associate Licensed Clinical Master Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University and a bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University.
I take a "toolbox" approach for each unique individual, utilizing pieces from various modalities to customize treatments for every client. My primary experience is in the treatment of trauma, grief, and relationship distress. I have familiarity with additional modalities including Internal Family Systems therapy, story-based therapy, attachment, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I can also incorporate faith-based modalities into treatment if desired; I have experience with Christian counseling utilizing scripture and prayer-centered interventions.
My goal is to walk with people on their path to healing. As a skilled helper and guide, I accompany clients through their own stories, helping them identify and process areas of trauma and grief. Ultimately, my goal is to help my clients find integration and healing for their whole person.
I look forward to getting to know you and your story as we work together to enhance your life. Contact me today for an appointment.

I am a Master's degree candidate studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling through University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY as an online student. I am in my last months of the program. I am currently working towards the completion of my Master's degree and am completing my last supervised hours under Dr. Wagner with the intention of attaining associate-level licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington state.
I began my counseling journey counseling adolescents in Walla Walla. I believe we all reach a point in our lives in which we feel we are "stuck" and it is my privilege to help guide people to find their innate ability to help themselves get unstuck. I approach counseling from a Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. It is my goal to help individuals find congruence with self through a professional, empathy-based relationship. I seek to view individuals holistically as I guide them towards healing while building the necessary skills to continue in their journey with wellness.
I look forward to listening to your story and helping you to find your footing. Contact me today for an appointment.
